Accounts Receivable/Denial Specialist

This person is responsible for:

• Assists medical billers in processing claims

• Thorough follow up on why claims are not paid, denied or “lost”

• ing to Team Billing Specialist any system / policy issue changes

Skills/Qualifications:

• Computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Thorough follow up and follow through

• Proficiency with Google suite preferred

• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets required

• Experience working in a remote position preferred

• 1 year of medical billing experience/claims aging or graduated from a medical billing school, required

• Dedicated, working space with a professional background, required

• Webcam and the ability to participate in virtual meetings, required

• Scheduling flexibility. Some overlap with normal business days/hours EST is required, but billers will have the independence to manage their tasks according to their own schedule.
