Key Responsibilities

HR Generalist

• Apply generalist HR knowledge and practice across the end to end employee lifecycle and ensure practices are compliant with relevant legislation
• Own and manage the full onboarding and offboarding of all employees across different investment portfolios.
• Act as the first point of contact to provide accurate and timely advice to employees for HR related queries including but not limited to contracts, policies and procedures, documentation, WHS, ER, etc.
• Partner closely with employees and leaders on ER matters and interact with different stakeholders
• Preparing reports on leave and absences across the business
• Work with key internal stakeholders to deliver the best HR service to all of our people
• Write processes and procedures to improve the HR workflow

Talent Acquisition

• Manage the entire recruitment life cycle process until onboarding (perform candidate selection process, conduct and interview applicants plus debrief sessions, conduct any special assessments if needed, reference checks, sending out and collection of contracts)
• Place all advertising across multiple advertising platforms
• Ensure the candidate experience is of a high level of service
• Actively improve the talent acquisition process
• Participate in the employer branding strategy including working on the intranet, website, and general overall advertising strategies

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a full spectrum HR generalist role, ideally across more than one geographical territory
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar
• Demonstrate a basic knowledge of local employment legislation and compliance
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels in the business
• Demonstrate problem-solving ability and attention to detail to delivery high quality output
• HR payroll experience preferred
• Confident and professional in holding team members accountable for actions and in responding to challenges from others
• Experience in working within a high-pressured environment where multitasking and time management is of utmost importance
• Business acumen and judgement, a strong desire to learn and grow
• Mandarin speaking preferred but not essential; and
• Full working rights in Australia, PR or Citizen preferred
