You will be working with a diverse and dynamic team within System Performance Support Branch (SPS). You will be based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, NSW 2065 in Health System Support Group, a unit of the Public Health System Support Division of the Health Administration Corporation to provide services to support the public health system in implementing Government targets and programs.

What you’ll be doing
The Associate Director Finance & Corporate Services is responsible for a range of activities in supporting the Executive Director System Performance Support and other key Executives & Managers of Health System Support Group (HSSG) for professional accounting knowledge, training, and expertise to leading the organisation’s financial compliance and management reporting and analysis requirements.
The position will provide support, advice, and analysis to the Directors of Health System Support Group on the financial performance of HSSG and expert financial advice and analysis to support appropriate strategic decisions. The Associate Director Finance & Corporate Services (F&CS) will oversee overall finances including overseeing processing and reporting of operational and statutory results in accordance with the NSW Health guidelines and timeframes.
In meeting this requirement, the Associate Director, F&CS will lead and direct the HSSG business units to achieve the required outcomes as well as professional leadership to others within HSSG in the achievement of sound financial management and efficiency programs. Involvement in strategic and business resource planning, business analysis, revenue generation, cost containment, effective utilisation of human resources and procurement.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
