MFLC School Counselor (Military Family Life Counselor) LOCAL TO HAWAII

Our current focus is the Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC) program. Our organization founded by actual Military Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) with over 15 years of experiences as Adult and Child and Youth MFLCs. We are seeking qualified candidates to fill local, national and international positions. Our experiences as MFLCs uniquely qualify us to mange the needs of the program and leadership while we address the needs and concerns of the providers on the ground. Job Description:
The MFLC program provides in-person, non-medical counseling services to active and reserve component military service members and their families.
Assess needs, provide support or refer to appropriate resources
Assist a Military Service member and/or family in developing an action plan to address a problem
Qualifications for a MFLC Counselor Tier 2:
1. A valid unrestricted clinical license from a state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or commonwealth that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields that the participants are receiving services (LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist). For OCONUS assignments (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) counselors may be licensed in any state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or commonwealth.
2. Counselors can be newly licensed with less than two years post licensure clinical experience.
3. Pass a criminal history and background check
4. Compliance with MFLC training program
Qualifications for a MFLC Counselor Tier 3:
1. A valid unrestricted clinical license from a state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or commonwealth that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields that the participants are receiving services (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist). For OCONUS assignments (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) counselors may be licensed in any state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or commonwealth.
2. Counselors shall also have two to five years post licensure clinical experience
3. Pass a criminal history and background check
4. Compliance with MFLC training program
Qualifications for a MFLC Counselor Tier 4:
1. A valid unrestricted clinical license from a state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or commonwealth that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields that the participants are receiving services (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist). For OCONUS assignments (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) counselors may be licensed in any state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or commonwealth.
2. Counselors shall also have five years or more post licensure clinical experience.
3. When applicable, Tier 3 Counselors may provide clinical supervision to Tier 1 counselors as outlined by the licensing board in the state of practice.
4. Pass a criminal history and background check
5. Compliance with MFLC training program
