Health Navigator Hiring for Head of Finance Job at London, England Full Time

What is the role we are recruiting for?

This role is primarly responsible for all end to end Finance activities in the business, ensuring that robust financial information is provided to the leadership team and Board to help them to make the best decisions for the company. This will include the provision of business modelling, analysis of financial risk, and financial management information.

What would your responsibilities be?
Some of the main responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Working directly with the Senior Management Team in driving strategic decisions and advise on financial planning and the long-term growth strategy, including assessing and executing financing options.
• Creating a clear long-term roadmap for the business and robust systems, processes and internal controls to allow for significant organic growth/scaling.
• Owning Financial planning and analysis and coordination and consolidation of the annual plan, and the ‘in year’ forecasting process.
• Providing high quality, insightful materials and business information to support decision making based on both backward- and forward-looking information aligned to business objectives. This includes holistic KPI and sales / customer reporting as well as P&L, cash and BS.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and that internal controls are designed and operating appropriately.
• Supporting the company on all fundraising efforts.
• Leading and supporting across various projects including R&D tax credit strategy and procedures, VAT returns, company credit card platform, our approach to invoice financing and payment terms while continuously looking to optimise and improve our finance processes.
• Managing all day-to-day finance process including payroll, payments and invoicing (working closely with our external bookkeeper and payroll provider).
• Planning international expansion and growth with the Senior Management Team.

Experience

• Experience with financial and management accounting at a senior level.
• Experience across all areas of finance from either a big business or small business background, including reporting, controls and business partnering.
• Experience of development and monitoring financial strategy and establishing processes and controls
• Experience in strategic planning and the creation of long-term business goals
• Experience with cloud accounting software (preferably Xero).

Knowledge

• Accounting qualification, ideally ACA or ACCA.
• Good technical accounting knowledge with a hunger to continue to learn.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £90,000.00 per year
