Health Education England Hiring for Overseas Sponsorship Administrative Assistant Job at Birmingham, England Full Time

The Overseas Sponsorship team is the National single Sponsor for issuing Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for post graduate Doctors and Dentists in training in England. This is a specialist team whose main remit is to issue Sponsorship and to monitor Doctors and Dentists requiring a Skilled Worker visas in line with Home Office regulations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to the Overseas Sponsorship team. This will include documentation checking, responding to emails, producing letters, data entry for reporting and motoring processes and maintaining internal databases.

You will also be responsible, together with other team members, for the daily management of the Overseas Sponsorship helpdesk inbox and phone queries, with a timely escalation of queries, sign posting and redirecting queries, if necessary, to where they can be answered to ensure the delivery of an excellent customer service.

You will have good customer service skills to liaise with applicants, local offices and all members of the Postgraduate Medical Education Team and maintain up-to-date contact lists.

Salary Progression

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 3 with a full-time starting salary of £20,330, with a pay step increase after 2 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
