We have an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Postgraduate Medical Education Team as Education Programme Coordinator. Specifically, this role supports the recruitment and assessment of our GP Educational Supervisors across Thames Valley together with the management of our Educator and Trainee courses. The successful person will also support the recruitment, assessment and programme management for our GP trainees.

This is an interesting and varied position in a busy and rewarding environment. You will work with a wide range of people including NHS hospital Trusts, GP practices, junior doctors, hospital consultants, and the Royal Medical Colleges.

As Education Programme Coordinator you will assist with a varied portfolio that includes the management of training programmes and rotations for junior doctors, educational supervisor approvals, quality, some course administration, national recruitment events and the annual assessment processes for doctors in training.

Using excellent communication skills, you will be confident liaising with colleagues at all levels and possess extensive IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office packages, with particular emphasis on Excel at an intermediate level and a superior attention to detail. You will be an effective team player and deliver a high standard of work to meet tight deadlines.

You should be able to travel to meetings and conferences offsite when required.
