The Role

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Finance Analyst will support the business to deliver on key strategic initiatives through timely, high quality analysis of financial data. This role will touch base on all finance functions including budgeting forecasting, financial reporting, data quality and process improvements.

You will work closely with key operational stakeholders at a site level, providing advice, business partnering and insights.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist with budget and board reporting requirements including yearly business plans
• Support month end reporting process including detailed analysis of site level PNLs and KPI reporting
• Work collaboratively with general accounting team to ensure accuracy and integrity of the State’s financial results
• Provide calculations for contract deals, including decision support around Health Care Practitioner related pay queries
• Provide general finance support including systems related issues, data extraction, supplier and accounts queries and support for ad-hoc invoicing
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis, reports and presentations
• Support finance related initiatives, including process improvement and cost management
• Identify performance and process improvement

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) or near qualified
• 3 – 5 years relevant work experience
• Experience in TM1 or Power BI preferred with working knowledge of SAP
• Strong technical skills in accounting, financial analysis and presentations
• Attention to detail, adaptability and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
• Good verbal and written communication
