POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a long-term team member to work with us as a senior-level manager of ourbrand that comes from a background within a like-minded space of nutritional supplement, pharmaceutical, beauty, or similar product or FDA-regulated industry.

Our successful Logistics Manager will have considerable manufacturing and operations management experience to lead business operations, logistics, supply chain, inventory, and technical arms of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Establish a standardized forecasting system and review process for each product
• Optimize operations and timely product delivery, including establishing KPIs for both individual team members and the team overall
• Increase quality awareness and support the implementation of effective quality systems throughout the organization and departments
• Optimize COGs by controlling costs, labor, and competitive pricing
• Manage risk and loss prevention
• Improve profit margins by establishing baseline and cost targets for all new initiatives
• Improve supply chain management – levels of visibility, accountability, and data to drive decision-making while enabling local logistics ecosystems to grow and mature
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the design, planning, and direct delivery of supply chain services involving forecasting, strategic sourcing multi-modal logistics (sea freight, airfreight, ground freight), port and staging management, cross-docking, warehousing/ inventory management, material handling, supply chain information systems, and data analytics.
• Expand the operational footprint as we grow – i.e. analyzing warehouse space (3PL or other), expanding global distribution
• For supply chain and logistics activities, provide leadership for design, strategy, and approach development
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.

General Operations

• Work with the Operations Manager and Director of Operations to oversee operations, warehouse, and inventory tech systems
• Oversee Warehouse Operations including forecasting, inventory management, improving and optimizing systems and processes, and quality control
• Collaborate to budget, plan, and strategize to hit growth targets over the near and long term
• Improve existing processes based on experience and expertise in a like-minded industry to do things better, do things faster, reduce costs, and increase profits.
• Facilitate profitable growth for the brand by managing COGS and fulfillment efficiency for happy customers
• Monitor supply chain performance with tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed s
• Work with the operations manager to oversee warehouse systems, processes, and staff

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 7+ years of experience in operations & logistics
• 5+ years of experience in nutritional supplements, pharmaceuticals, beauty or similar product, intimacy/sexual health, or FDA-regulated industry 5+ years of leadership-level experience planning and managing projects, people and teams
• Supply chain experience and inventory management is a plus
• Full understanding and experience in project management, process improvement, and change management
• A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Ability to analyze a supply chain and find risks, and identify weak spots in a process to improve efficiency
• Results-driven and excellent communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
