What’s the role about?

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team as a Projects Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

You will be responsible for providing expert knowledge and advice on financial controls, systems and processes to ensure strategic change and initiatives impacting Partnership Finance are designed, implemented and embedded effectively. This is a key role supporting and shaping change that impacts the finance function.

You’ll also be the link between Finance and the wider Partnership, identifying and understanding change that impacts Partnership Finance.

What will you be doing?

You will provide expertise on strategic projects/initiatives and business change to ensure any potential financial control risks, or impact on existing Finance processes and systems are identified and addressed.

You will be comfortable challenging and evaluating others’ decisions and influencing stakeholders to ensure that projects and other change initiatives are implemented in an optimal way for Partnership Finance.

Building and maintaining a network to ensure that change which may have a material impact on Partnership Finance is identified timely and the necessary input provided.

What you’ll have

• Accounting qualification or equivalent experience – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

• A demonstrable ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Confidence working in and across a large company and its finance function.

What else could you bring?

• Experience of working with IT systems to manage change and implementation programs.
