We are looking for experienced Revenue Cycle professionals to work directly with patients by engaging, identifying, and presenting solutions to create a meaningful interaction around self-pay healthcare balances.

Full time Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm Eastern Standard Time

Our Patient Financial Engagement team handle a high-volume of interactions with patients helping to resolve their self-pay healthcare balances. Understanding the uniqueness around each patient interaction, solution-oriented mindsets, and delivering an amazing patient experience defines success in our organization.

Our wages are based on experience and this position starts at $15+ per hour.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Excellent communication skills, specifically phone skills, that encourage the establishment and maintenance of cooperative, positive engagements.
• Ability to maintain private home office workspace.
• 1+ year of prior patient account, or other related experience (such as billing, revenue cycle, patient financial services) experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, college courses or certificate preferred
• Reliable internet connection.

• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems experience preferred.
• Understanding of payor relationships, requirements, and compliant billing practices.
• Solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address issues and problems.
• Accuracy with data entry.
• Maintain a positive approach, work cooperatively with others, and demonstrate a constructive response to coaching, maintain composure while interacting with patients.

• Proficient computer skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate and comprehend computer software systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

What does a day at HCM look like?

• Our Patient Financial Experience team handles inbound and outbound calls.

• Navigate client Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Work with patientsGuarantors on securing payment to outstanding balances.
• Articulate options to patientsguarantors around payment plans, financial assistance, and additional third-party options.
• Identify problems on the account and escalate appropriately.
• Update and verify guarantor insurance information.

• Update the patient account record to identify actions taken.
• Maintain great HCM quality standards.
• Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with ideas that improve the team, processes and solutions.
• Communicate with team members and management in a professional manner.
• Attend training for EMR systems, required HIPAA awareness training, cyber security awareness training, and continuous internal training programs.

• Comply with all guidelines, policies, and procedures to assure sensitive or confidential information is protected in accordance with the HIPAA rules and regulations.
