Due to our continued success and growth, we are now looking for up to 15 Wiring Harness Assembly Technicians to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. We have two areas within HCI that we are recruiting for, our Automotive and our Motorsport build areas. Please specify in your application which area you are applying for.

The Role
As a Wiring Harness Assembly Technician, you will produce high quality automotive and motorsport specification wiring harnesses.
Specifically, you’ll assemble single crimp large diameter HV cables and deliver complex and challenging Formula One harnesses, co-ordinating deliverables with your colleagues and managing your time to meet targets.
Additionally, you’ll undertake the kitting of harnesses, prepare build areas and maintain a clean, calm workshop environment.
About You
To be considered as a Wiring Harness Assembly Technician, you will need:
– At least two years’ experience in a similar technical environment, ideally in the motorsport or automotive industries
– Experience of System 25 materials and Contra-helical lay ups
– Experience of using Automated Crimping press tools for automotive harness builds
– Experience of high voltage cable preparation and crimping
– Experience in building complex wiring harnesses for motorsport to varying customer styles of designs
– The ability to read drawings and create Bills of materials for Prototype and First builds
– The ability to work towards IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610
– An awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
