The Role – Located in NYC

We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to join HCHK’s growing team. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will be a key member of the HR team and play an important role in building and instilling a People First culture. Your role is to recruit rock stars that will evolve our organization and create a Great Place to Work.

Challenges You’ll Solve

• Recruit for all roles outside of technical
• Build Talent Acquisition processes for interviews, offers, onboarding to ensure operational excellence
• Drive change and influence through data and metrics, creating data backed analysis to HCHK’s leadership team and other stakeholders to help drive strategic talent decisions
• Drive sourcing and recruitment strategies in consultation with hiring leaders.
• Advise hiring leaders on talent acquisition matters and be accountable for the compliance and document tracking requirements as per federal and state laws.
• Evaluate reports (but first create them) concerning hiring trends, turnover rates, candidate feedback, etc. and develop and execute corrective action plans
• Manage TA vendors and budgets (Agencies, background check vendor, etc.)
• Evaluate systems for onboarding and recruiting (future state: implement an Applicant Tracking System)
• Manage online presence and post all positions on multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed)
• Act as a Brand Manager to come up with innovative and fun ways to increase our brand recognition and to improve our candidate experience
• Partner with Chief People Officer to develop, launch and execute our D&I Strategy to increase workforce diversity and build and foster HCHK’s and our client’s culture of inclusion

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field is required
• 10+ years of progressive impact in leading a TA organization in a highly technical environment
• Experience scaling and leading high performing and highly engaged talent teams at hypergrowth companies
• Proven ability to act as strategic partner that can influence and drive change throughout the organization
• Proven experience of agility and adaptability – this is a company gearing up for high growth and this role is the lynchpin to the success or failure of that growth
• Demonstrable experience growing and inspiring teams

You’ll knock it out of the park, if you have:

• Experience with a start-up
• Skilled at partnering with organizational leaders to develop hiring plans, understand business changes, and shifting priorities
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity in an environment where we build the plane as we fly it
• Experience in Organization Development, Leadership Development and/or Talent Management with a focus on shaping and driving the talent and employee experience agenda through management of processes and technologies
