Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be supporting the Hospital Based Physicians (HBP) service line within HCA’s Physician Services Group. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of analyses relating to the financial statements and operations of the company for their assigned product line, as well as other duties as assigned by the HBP Controller.

What you will do in this role:

• You will create and maintain weekly operations projections
• You will also coordinate with HBP operations leadership for product-line and divisional MOR presentations
• You must assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of tools that will be used in the revenue and collection processes for variance analysis
• You will become familiar with PSG revenue cycle policies
• You will be required to prepare Pro forma reports for new locations or markets
• You must prepare annual projection and budget process
• Ad hoc report development in platforms such as Microstrategy/Essbase/Business Objects will be essential
• You will also provide support to practice accounting related to standard billing systems & reconciliation

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field as required
• CPA designation is preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial or accounting position
