The Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.
Ultimately, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will create strong talent pipelines for our firm’s current and future hiring needs.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Chief Human Resource Officer.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria.
Oversee the firm’s full-cycle recruiting.
Draft, post and manage job openings on various recruiting websites.
Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
Develop and maintain relationships with key executive search firms.
Work with the human resources team to align priorities and keep the team updated on activities.
Work with the marketing department to align recruitment message and marketing materials.
Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details through UKG Applicant Tracking System and various other platforms.
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by office.
Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, specifically related to need for excellent telephone etiquette.
Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results (high volume / high quality candidates).
Commitment to and an understanding of the sense of urgency associated with the talent acquisition process.
Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a team environment.
Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize projects and tasks with excellent attention to detail while effectively adapting to changing priorities with flexibility.
Capable of interacting with all levels of external and internal professionals while developing strong productive relationships.
Solid organizational and time management skills specifically relating to completion of appropriate follow through and status updates on the recruiting process.
Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (LinkedIn).
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
A solid understanding of the differences between various roles within the firm.
Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
Prior Public Accounting Experience is a plus.
