You will work for a successful PR and Communications Agency, based in the heart of London.

Your new role
In this permanent Finance Assistant job you will work within a friendly finance team of four people, ing to the Finance Manager. You will undertake varied responsibilities including:

• End to end Accounts Payable including setting up new suppliers, preparation and execution of weekly payment runs, reconciliation of supplier statements, liaison with suppliers, and processing staff expenses
• Recharging invoices
• Credit card reconciliation
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable including raising sales invoices
• Petty cash month end reconciliation
• Production of weekly s including time analysis

What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have 1-2 years experience working in a similar Finance/Accounts Assistant role, with a focus on Accounts Payable. You will be smart, switched on, and a quick & keen learner with excellent communication skills. You will have a team-focused approach, working collaboratively with both the immediate finance team as well as partnering successfully across other divisions. Immediate or short notice is desirable, but up to 1 month notice period will be considered. You will ideally have some knowledge/familiarity with basic accounting principles such as double entry, prepayments and accruals (please note that you don’t have to have practical experience with these tasks).

What you’ll get in return
Flexible working options available with a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 from home each week (although the finance team often have more flexibility on this and do 2/3). You will be eligible for a study support package towards a professional accounting qualification, and will receive 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas shut down. Your salary will be reviewed annually and, in addition, you will receive a discretionary annual bonus in July.
