This is a large public sector organisation based in Cardiff. The working pattern is mostly home/remote working with a requirement to attend the office once a month for team meetings and ad hoc when required to support the needs of the team.
Your new role
To provide business management, corporate and operational support. The post holder may coordinate and implement cross cover support to the Directorate, provide and ensure the provision of appropriate support and advice to administration and clerical staff, senior managers and consultants. This is a key role to ensure efficient and effective support for the Directorate, which includes preparing weekly, bi-weekly, monthly quarterly s and management information, ensuring compliance across a number of areas in line with KPIs, policies and governance procedures.
What you’ll need to succeed
The post holder will also be required to provide high level support to projects including recruitment, contracts management, procurement functions and undertake business support tasks. The duties and responsibilities listed are not intended to be exhaustive but are set out to indicate the main areas of activity currently expected of any Business Support Manager. The post holder will, therefore, be expected to adopt a flexible approach when the needs of the service require.
