Your new role

As a Talent Scout you will proactively engage with the market to develop talent pools for the end-to-end recruitment to fill entry level vacancies through volume talent campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Provide recruitment advice and support for Hiring Managers on recruitment policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Act as a key contact for candidate queries to ensure candidates are provided with accurate information to facilitate their application.
• Develop and maintain relationship with future employees.
• Undertake candidate screening activities and develop short lists for interview.
• Provide support in coordinating logistics for candidate management, developing interview questions, preparation of required documentation and recommending best-fit assessments.
• Ensure selection process leads to quality hiring outcomes within agreed time frames and policy requirements.
• Support reference checking and completion of Selection Report.
• Ensuring selected candidates are offered employment and on-boarded correctly by partnering with Contract and Pre-Employment Check specialists.
• Developing and maintaining external and internal relationships and communications with key stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience in a large, complex, fast paced organisation.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience using HR/CRM systems.
• Exposure to HR processes, such as interviewing and candidate evaluation.
• Ability to adapt to different projects and work under deadlines.
• Experience in building and cultivating candidate and client relationships in a business environment.
• Proven ability to take initiative and build effective, productive relationships with stakeholders.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, organisational skills and high attention to detail.

What you’ll get in return

In return for your hard work you will get a daily rate of $370-545 + Super. This is a hybrid role (you will have to go to the office in Burwood 1-2 days a week) for 3 months, but will very likely extend by the next FY.
