This Government Department pride themselves on delivering a premium service to the community on the Gold Coast. They are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Team Leader on temporary basis.

Your new role

Reporting to the Coordinator People and Culture, you will lead a team of 6 that delivers HR operational services and advice in the areas of employee relations, organisational structures, HR metrics analysis and reporting, award interpretation, recruitment, managing projects, writing guides, templates, procedures and health and safety. Monitor performance against SLA deliverables. You also will build key relationships across the business and identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency within the team. Mentoring and coaching your team will also provide great results.

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll hold tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in recruitment, HRIS management and ER. Strong analytical and research skills utilised in developing innovative solutions to recruitment. In addition, you will also have exposure to a large business environment preferably within the public sector, with a track record of improving processes and increasing efficiencies.
