Our client based in Perth’s southern suburb is looking for a senior payroll officer for a temporary period with extension possibilities. This is a great opportunity to work within a government position.

Your new role

As a senior payroll officer, your role will include:

• Processing the fortnightly payroll for over 700 staffs
• Responding to payroll related queries
• Processing Employee Reimbursements
• Maintenance of personal at HRIS
• Auditing staff leave entitlements and preparing leave adjustments
• Performing ad hoc tasks as required

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience as a payroll officer / senior payroll officer
• Experience operating Aurion is desirable

• Demonstrated experience in providing advice on relevant Acts, Awards and Agreements
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
