Your new role

This is a new role created to service the growing financial demands of this expanding group. This role will suit a qualified accountant looking to broaden their accounting career in a growing and vibrant business.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial information and reports that support the operational success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of month end management reports for each company in the group
• Maintain workpapers and supporting documentation to support balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform inter-company reconciliations, elimination/consolidations etc as required
• Preparation of monthly BAS and other taxation compliance obligations as required
• Periodic cash flow analysis and reporting
• Periodic inventory analysis and reporting
• Management of the fixed asset register
• Involvement in the preparation of annual budget process and monthly forecasting for the group
• Involvement in preparation of annual financial statements, liaising with auditors where required

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or equivalent
• Ideally be completed or working towards completing CA or CPA qualification
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
