At Hays we are currently working with a well-established private company on the Brisbane Bayside. Due to company growth they are now looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team in a part-time temporary basis. If you are highly motivated, ambitious and looking for a challenge, this may be the role for you.

Your new role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will work in a supportive team environment where the core of your duties will include:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Bank Reconciliations
• Resolving account queries
• Assist with GST & BAS Monthly
• General Ledger reconciliation
• Assist with Banking
• Other accounting duties as required

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll have previous experience working within a team environment and you’ll also be experienced with

• Finance or Accounting Qualifications
• A thorough understanding of accounting principles
• You must be available to start ASAP
