This organisation is Australian owned and specialises in Design and Integration of complex technology systems for Defence. Due to the success of this project, this Defence Company has several exciting opportunities for experienced Engineers to join their growing team in Newcastle. Your new company specialises in operating and supporting both hardware and software systems and are responsible for continually improving and enhancing these systems to keep it operationally relevant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly established engineering team for a company who places a particular emphasis on building an inclusive environment and support their current team nationally on existing and future projects.

They are looking to expand their team with a number of different roles across several different disciplines (Ideally with Defence experience, other complex and safety critical industries also considered):

Engineering Manager:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Experience in leading technical teams, stakeholder management and financial responsibility
• Leads the design, implementation and ongoing development of project plans, specifications and schedules
• Proficient knowledge of systems engineering principles
• Recruitment, Training and Mentoring of staff
• Performing of analysis, design, and management of technical documentation for the engineering solution

Several Engineering Opportunities within the following disciplines:

• Mechatronics Engineers
• Electrical/Electronic Engineers
• Software Engineers

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting Engineering activities in collaboration with other members of the project engineering team
• Sound understanding of Systems Engineering principles
• Design and engineering review of computer systems, control systems and communication networks
• Integrating hardware to form higher level assemblies

Please note that applicants must be Australian Citizens due to the nature of the work so that they may be eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearances.
