They are undertaking an exciting period of growth following their recent acquisition by Avetta LLC. They are looking for an inquisitive problem solver with good experience managing revenue to join the team. The role will be instrumental in leading the revenue cycle activities of the Pegasus business whilst working closely with the Finance and Billing teams from Avetta.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a role for a committed Revenue Accountant to manage the end to end revenue cycle. You will work closely with the business to provide a high level of financial and analytical support through the management of revenue.

In detail you will

• Handle the end to end revenue cycle
• Complete all system invoicing
• Oversee the daily sales process in the ERP and analyse the results
• Manage and maintain the revenue recognition process
• Perform basic reviews of contracts and manage within the ERP system
• Maintain pricing within the ERP system
• Oversee the debt collection process
• Prepare internal reports for the management team to support decision making
• Work closely with the Sales and FP&A teams to develop detailed client analysis to help predict client needs
• Support all departments to prepare forecasts and budgets
• Understand key business drivers and how they impact the business
• Track KPIs and develop financial reports for Revenue
• Complete other ad hoc tasks as the company requires from time to time

What you’ll need to succeed

You will have a solid foundation in accounting and revenue recognition principles and you will be able to demonstrate a proficiency and understanding of the broader sales cycle.

You must be an organised professional with a great eye for detail; someone who is able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively. Your success will help the business grow by providing timely and accurate sales information to support decision making across the business.

Your education includes A recognised bachelors’ degree in finance, accounting or a related field and professional accounting qualifications or studying towards

Your minimum skill set will include

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to present financial information to a non financial audience
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented and able to perform in a fast paced environment
• Ability to demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce will be highly regarded
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills; written and verbal
