Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term part time contract, located in the CBD

Your new role

• Oversight and monitoring of financial commitments
• Financial and staff resourcing analysis as well as reporting and forecasting
• Reporting of fixed assets and assisting with maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Preparation and maintenance of cash flow projections
• Assisting in preparation of month end reporting and end of year reports
• Support of other finance staff on leave and other staff in regards to finance queries

What you’ll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification in accounting
• CPA or CA Qualification
• Experience with management accounting (ideally in a service industry)
• Govt experience – not essential
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent excel and financial analysis/reporting skills
