Your new role

The position is responsible for Analysing the financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other activities for the Firm’s clients.

Key accountabilities

• Assists with the preparation of financial statements following accounting standards;
• Prepares clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
• Verify financial statements and management accounts
• Apply basic tax compliance processes;
• Assist with tax planning for clients;
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts;
• Completes requisite regulatory forms

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidates will be responsible for the duties outlined above and will require:

• Business / Commerce degree
• Experience in MYOB Essential, Sage Handy
• 1-2 years in a similar role
• Strong Communication Skills, attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
