Your new role

As the HR Service Officer, you will provide leadership and direction to officers providing human resource management and payroll administration services to clients. You will report to the Senior Human Resource Consultant, Nominated Region, Human Resources.

Position Duties:

• Supporting activities to promote opportunities to teachers for critical vacancies across Queensland.
• Capturing candidate information to support the placement of teachers in critical vacancies.
• Case managing candidates and their applications in liaison with regional recruitment teams.
• Administration of systems and reporting for recruitment activities.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Demonstrated skill in identifying opportunities for improved services and outcomes
• Ability to lead, coordinate or undertake human resources and payroll management activities with client focused outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and undertake high quality work to meet explicit deadlines and to collaborate within flexible teams to achieve outcomes for clients
• Demonstrated capacity to provide accurate advice on issues and take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with staff at all levels and with external agencies, service providers and clients
• The duration of this position will be dependent on work demands and the availability of ongoing funding.
• You may be required to work across multiple locations so it would be highly desirable for you to possess a current driver’s licence
