Your new company

Highly successful and growing SME based in North Sydney are looking for a HR Manager to join their team. This will be a standalone position responsible for operational and strategic HR.

Your new role

You will report to the General Manager and work initially in a standalone capacity responsible for all HR matters. This would include:

• HR policy and process development
• Coaching management on employee relations including grievances, performance management and performance reviews
• Recruitment of all positions including onboarding and inductions
• WHS including workers compensation
• Salary reviews and rem reporting/bench marking
• Various HR projects including employee engagement, incentives and WFH capability
• Overseeing and approving payroll

What you’ll need to succeed

• You with have a Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline
• Minimum of five years HR generalist experience and ideally have been a HR Manager previously
• SME experience within a blue collar environment would be preferred but non essential
• Strong end-to-end experience including recruitment, ER, remuneration & benefits, WHS and L&D
• Ability to work autonomously and in the future manage and mentor a direct report
• Knowledge of payroll would be highly advantageous
