Your new company

Our client successfully provides security services across Queensland. Their head office is based centrally on the Gold Coast and a new opportunity has arisen for a HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would be reporting directly into the Managing Director and would handle everything HR related for 100 staff members.

Your new role

This is an established Human Resources position that will be work very closely with senior management. This busy role will see you responsible for:

• Working closely with the leadership team to develop a clear vision and strategy for the firm’s HR function
• Advising senior management on HR strategies, policies and practices
• Developing employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a healthy workplace culture

• Implementing HR strategies
• End-to-end recruitment
• Advise on succession planning, talent management, learning and development, performance management and salary reviews
• Ensure there is compliance with HR and government regulations
• Continuously improve the workplace culture
• Performance management

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated HR Manager experience
• Strong working knowledge of workplace regulations
• You must be professional, approachable, have excellent communication skills and time management details with attention to detail
