Our client develops, constructs and runs retirement villages and aged care facilities throughout Australia and has an office based centrally on the Gold Coast. A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR generalist to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary basis to provide support during a very busy period of year.

There is a very high potential of the right person being taken on permanent.

Your new role

This busy role will see you responsible for:

• Reporting into the HR Manager
• Provide support to the recruitment function including onboarding and inductions
• Being the first point of contact for any HR related queries
• Apply HR generalist duties across the entire employee life cycle
• Reporting and administrative tasks for the HR team and assisting payroll
• Preparing and amending HR documents
• Organising and maintaining employee records

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

• A drive to progress your career in the Human Resources space within a nation-wide business
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Recent HR Administration experience and/or tertiary qualifications (2 years’ experience)
• You must be professional, approachable, have excellent communication skills and time management details with attention to detail
• Understanding of HR related legislation and regulations
