Hays has partnered with a leading retail organisation whom are well known for their high quality service. They are now seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to join their growing team.

Your new role

In your new role as the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead you will have a variety of responsibilities.

Some core duties will include:

• Maintain the forecast system, as well as leading the 3-way forecast process across the group
• Prepare analysis and reports for CFO and Board, offering support with reviewing forecasts and validating assumptions
• Commercial support involving market research and financial analysis of new initiatives, as well as for Investor Relations
• Identify opportunities to improve
• Develop business cases for new and existing opportunities to maintain competitive advantage
• Assist in post-acquisition reviews

What you’ll need to succeed

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Lead you will need to bring a set of skills which will foster high levels of success in your new role.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance roles after completion of qualifications
• Relevant degree paired with CA/CPA Qualifications
• Proficiency with Excel, and Power BI knowledge and experience will be advantageous
• Ability to interpret financial management reports and develop structured approaches for resolving key business issues
• Strong accounting knowledge
