Our client is a well-established not-for-profit (NFP) organised based in Canberra. They are a leader in their field setting the highest bar for the level services. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead a small finance team and work in a reputed organised in Canberra.

Your new role

As the financial controller, you shall report to the CFO and your duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Prepare the monthly financial reporting pack
• Assist with preparation of budgets and annual statutory accounts
• General ledger reconciliations
• AP/AR management including invoicing and payments
• Staff management – small team of finance officers to report directly to this position

What you’ll need to succeed

You’re a professional with a CPA/CA qualification, and have previous experience within a financial accounting role in the NFP/Commercial sector. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to articulate complex information.
