Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team on a casual full-time contract, located in the CBD.

Your new role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be providing key technical expertise to support financial analysis of key cost drivers and revenue, planning and financial modelling. Other responsibilities include –

• Analysis and development of future cost and revenue estimates
• Developing financial modelling for key revenue streams
• Engaging with various stakeholders
• Ensuring organisational compliance with all Government requirements and ensuring accurate reflection in organisation policies and procedures

What you’ll need to succeed

• A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or business-related discipline
• Full member of CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia or equivalent
• Adept at data and financial modelling on new operating structure
• Strong technical financial modelling skills
• Previous State Government experience preferable
