Your new role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Recruitment activities with line area
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
• Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role should have a sound understanding of business functions, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and good organizational skills. The HRBP should improve HR initiatives, enhance staff morale, enhance relations between staff and employers, contribute to business goals, promote good HR practices, and attract talented recruits.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have experience in across a broad range of HR functions. You will be able to tailor your communication style and approach to a range of audiences.
