Your new role

CFO role reporting into the College Principal.

• Management of the finance team of 4 and responsible for all day to day accounting as well as various projects
• High level strategic and business partnering for in a growth and evolving organisation
• The role is responsible for supporting the School in implementing appropriate policies and procedures
• Ensure all compliance obligations are met.
• Ensure month end, half year and year end reporting and audit requirements are met
• Compilation of the annual budget and reporting
• Ensure that operating policies and procedures for the school operations are up to date and in line with applicable legislation and regulations
• Oversee payroll and cash management

What you’ll need to succeed

• CA, CPA qualified or Equivalent. CFO or Financial Controller background.
• Will consider candidates from a similar role in education or alternatively a finance manager/controller from a commercial business
• Looking for someone with very strong all round accounting experience
• Strong ability to provide high level strategic insight
• Looking for a positive candidate with excellent energy and an outstanding work ethic
• Proven effective communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders
• Strong management skills
