This department provides a vital service that is appreciated by its stakeholders. A recent structural review has identified a resource gap which requires the services of a project accountant with a background in construction.

Your new role

The role will have a property focus and will be responsible for all the accounting around current and upcoming projects. Tasks may range from costing projects to processing journals. Strong interpersonal skills are vital as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a day to day basis.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are ideally looking for a CA/CPA qualified accountant with construction industry experience, but also someone with knowledge of government accounting practices and governance frameworks

What you’ll get in return

This role will be offered on an hourly rate contract for 12 months, with rates negotiated commensurate with demonstrated skills and experience. Australian citizenship is essential to be taken into consideration.
