Our client requires a customer focused Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on the Northern Gold Coast. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment. Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be an integral member of a large finance team. Your duties will include:

• Receive and process invoices for goods and services and match these to raised purchase orders (50 -100 invoices per day)
• Reconciliations of accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely supplier statement reconciliation
• Create payment runs for due invoices
• Liaise and build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience operating as an Accounts Payable Officer within a medium to large sized company and have a high work ethic. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate solid technical accounting expertise, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and an eye for detail. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively will be beneficial.
