Hays is currently partnered with a local retailer to recruit an Accounts Officer in a temporary capacity. This company specialises in surfing sportswear and accompanying products.

Your new role

This role is an entry-level opportunity and will work part of a small team to provide finance support. Responsibilities will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Management of finance journals
• Processing of accounts payable/receivable
• Handling of cashflow
• General accounting practises

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Qualifications in accounting in finance is desirable
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Ability to learn new operation systems and processes
• Advanced organisational skills
• Able to perform detailed work accurately and promptly.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite programs, specifically Excel.
