VPS3 Accounting Officer | 6 Month Temp | $45-55ph + Super | State Government | Melbourne CBD | WFH hybrid
Your new company
Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join the Systems Accounting team of three on a temporary basis of 6 months.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Manager Systems Accounting, you will assist in the preparing financial schedules to support the accounting for leave liabilities, monthly preparation of the State Administration Unit and recommending improvements and assisting with maintaining the financial system.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experienced with Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge of government policy, including the Financial Management Act is highly desirable
- Studies in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Great team player, excellent analytical skills, effective communication and customer focused.
