Main Criteria:

• Bachelor of Business or Accounting
• At least 2 years’ experience previously as an Accountant
• Microsoft Dynamics or Microsoft BC experience highly desired
• Strong excel spreadsheet skills
• CPA/ CA completed or near completion

About the Role:

• Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration and operating within a driven and dynamic team, the Assistant Accountant is responsible for performing day to day financial and management accounting functions across the 3 companies.
• The Ideal candidate would have strong business acumen and analytical skills to be the champion of financial software systems used across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of company financial functions
• Provide financial reporting to support the monthly business review process.
• Facilitate and complete month-end procedures for multiple entities
• Assist in the development of the annual budget.
• Assist in delivery to regulatory bodies including ATO, SRO, and other entities as required.
• Undertake data analysis and integration for business units to drive better financial performance.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• CA / CPA qualified or near completion
• Systems knowledge and experience – Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
