Position Summary
The Purchaser works and negotiates with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must have an intermediate level understanding of accounting principles. Must be an effective team player and leader, have the ability to assist others, be an effective problem solver and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Familiar with purchasing material in the construction industry. Understands the industry in purchasing, invoicing, contract management, and industry lingo. Knowledge of Foundation or a comparable software and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Required to use forklift or other material handling equipment.
