Business Purpose:

Provide and maintain Costs System for Arcadia Manufacturing; maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and property; provide accurate cost information to Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing; provide cost analysis for Capital Projects and Business Unit Profitability Analysis.

Role Qualifications: (R*equired & P*referred)

Education: BS Accounting or Finance (R).

Experience: 5 years Manufacturing Plan Accounting (R), 10 years progressive manufacturing accounting experience (R).

Areas of Knowledge: Manufacturing Standard Cost System (R), Property Accounting (R), Payroll Distribution (R), Physical Inventory Accounting (R), Capital Project Cost Analysis and Breakeven Analysis (P), Microsoft AX Systems (P).

Skills: Advanced computer literacy PC (R),Project management (R), communications (R), analytical (R), self-motivated (R).

Global Accountabilities for the Role:

1. Safety/Environmental: Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment; assure the current training of personnel in Basic First Aid and CPR.

2. Quality: Completing all accountabilities professionally accurately, maintain effective cross functional communications and relationships, appraise and provide feedback and coaching to subordinates calling them to account if their obligations are not met, work within the limits of the role, providing timely input to the direct manager.

3. Productivity: Meet commitments on a timely basis, assure that direct reports are engaged and meet their accountabilities.

4. Costs: Optimizing resources and time, look for ways to improve the cost effectiveness of the organization

5. Give full support to the functions interations of the management systems subscribed to by the facility (ie AS 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or the most recent certification of aforementioned).

Specific Accountabilities for the Role:
1. Cost System: Maintain Cost System; make recommendation for evolution and improvements.

2. Inventory Reporting: Maintain and report inventories to include monthly closing and reconciliation and physical property records.

3. Inventories: Analyze inventories and recommend controls & adjustments within the Arcadia Business Plan and Corporate directives.

4. Accounting: Reconcile General Ledgers to the various sub-ledgers.

5. Budgeting: Provide Annual Budget Schedule Plan and Coordinate Budgeting Process including the Sales Forecast, Labor Budget and Manufacturing performance estimates and analysis.

6. Financial Controls: Maintain SOX documentation and Site Audits.

7. Capital Projects: Perform project analysis for capital justification in cooperation with Corporate Accounting.

8. Financial Reporting: Prepare various reports as required including but not limited to, Manufacturing P&L, Variances, Budget Performance.

9. Internal Controls are important to achieve accurate financial reporting. Role includes responsibility for internal control performance as they pertain to the financial reporting processes of Arcadia as well as ensure risk of fraud is mitigated. 10. Training: Assess and provide training as required in area of accountability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
