Finance Officer – Accounts Payable

• Permanent Part Time position
• 21 hours per week
• Salary negotiable from $659.61 per 21 hour week

The Role:

This role is responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to the Council’s Financial Services branch through efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions, reconciliations and customer enquiries.

About You:

We are seeking experienced Accounts Payable professionals with demonstrated use of Excel and computer skills. You will have high attention to detail, the ability to meet time constraints and to work under pressure preferably in a financial environment.

You must have:

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts payable
  
• Previous experience performing basic accounting functions, reconciliations and data entry
  
• Strong customer service skills and experience
• Good time management skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated capacity to work within a team environment
