Humane Education Specialist – Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation
Regular Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Wailuku, Maui, HI
SUMMARY
The Humane Education Specialist oversees all functions of the Education Program. Responsible for promoting humane interactions between pets and people. Designs, coordinates, implements and oversees all Education Department activities related to teaching and promoting humane attitudes towards animals including animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, animal rights, and animal behavior. Recruiting volunteers and providing ongoing support, managing Education Program data. Assists with grant writing to enhance program support ensuring goals and financial responsibilities of Education Program are met.
