Haverfield Aviation, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Professional to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Potential for hybrid in-office and partial remote work.

Responsibilities

• Internal Business support by evaluating current needs of each department
• Counsel current directors, managers and employees to support overall needs of their department
• Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
• Support and Develop current employees with ongoing training
• Develop and conduct Quarterly and Annual performance evaluations
• Discipline, terminate, and document employees as needed
• Maintains human resource and administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
• Develop and analyze progressive turnover reporting
• Manage retention
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings. Including but not limited to; Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment Claims, ERISA filings, OSHA filings, Affirmative Action filings, etc. Maintain compliance and not handicap company if an action is the right thing to do.
• Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
• Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits. Design and conduct educational programs on benefit programs
• Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
• Maintains historical human resource records
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Manages and approves payroll administrative process to ensure payroll is accurate and timely
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Prior experience with payroll & benefits, performance, workers compensation, and employment law
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
