Hasbro Pacific has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Sydney!

The Accountant will assist the Finance Managers (for Accounting and Planning) with the timely

preparation, consolidation, and accurate reporting of Operations/ Business KPIs, monthly management

reports, budgets and forecast plans and analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Submission of the month-end close of PnL.
• Month-end journals (including but not limited to accruals and prepayments of people related costs and intercompany recharges).
• Ensure timely preparation of PnL reporting after every month-end close
• Timely preparation of monthly files.
• Preparation of the month-end and quarterly management reporting package for the Finance Manger’s review.
• Timely preparation of the monthly files for the Finance Manager’s review.
• Work with the Finance Manager in preparation of the full PnL and Balance Sheet for annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Work with the functional managers within the business in preparation of the budgeting and forecasting across several areas.
• Prepare timely PnL and overhead variance analysis of the latest forecast/budget for Finance Manager (Planning) to review.
• Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the quarterly Business Review book, with emphasis on PnL and overhead related pages.
• Submit forecast/budget PnL and Balance Sheet via Longview System.
• Act as back-up or secondary support to other Finance team members when needed.
• Co-approve and release AP payments for the Pacific region.

You will bring to the role:

• Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or CIMA).

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management and financial accounting.
• Comprehensive analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of management reporting and variance analysis systems and process.
• High proficiency in MS Excel/ MS Access.
• Experience is SAP.
• Works interpedently and contributes as part of a team.
• Well organized and effective at managing a broad and large set of priorities.
