HASA, Inc Hiring for Continuous Improvement Manager Full Time

The Continuous Improvement Manager will assess, monitor, and enhance business performance for Multi-Plant location within the organization. This role involves analyzing current practices and developing business process improvements as well as implementing changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance, driving the organization toward efficient operations, by performing the following duties personally or through other employees.

Essential Functions:

• Plan and Lead Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout all plants.
• Lead Plant Steering Teams in their Continuous Improvement Deployment.
• Develop Methods and Processes to improve all multi-plant operations.
• Prepare or take a leadership position on cost studies and justifications for all proposed changes or additions to production.
• Support All Plants on Improvement Projects as required.
• Help with the coordination and Lead Inter-Plant Lean Audits
• Work with management team and Site Leaders to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the processes.
• Be a resource and/or train Site Leaders/Operations Managers personnel in the Continuous Improvements methodologies.
• Work Directly with Team Leaders who oversee Production and Maintenance Personnel to Control Production Process Systems
• Able to use knowledge and skills learned in the plastic/bottle industry to develop action plans and implementation process for material handling and purchasing.
• Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
• Be a resource for the Plant Information System team.
• Determine and install appropriate performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement programs consistent with the operating objectives of all sites
• Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
• Drives process changes for product development as well as refinement of existing process to drive material cost savings.
• Manage process engineering efforts to support Continuous Improvement and First Time Pass problem solving initiatives through collaborative efforts with host facilities and teams.
• Reviews current and future business requirements with Team Leaders and seeks to continuously improve the capabilities and capacities.
• Manages the technical relationships with the relevant suppliers, ensuring that improved operating practices are implemented.
• Develop training materials for Lean processes and principles, as well as other training materials as necessary.
• Works closely with All Sites to determine new or developing product requirements, which may include the identification of external sources for supplemental services and develops Standard Operating Procedures to control same.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial is preferred) with 5+ years of solid experience in continuous improvement leadership roles.
• Plastic and bottle industry is a must.
• Being able to demonstrate experience in leading change management.
• Effective leadership, interpersonal skills, performance management, and people development skills required.
• Experienced in identifying and tracking KPIs.
• Being able to communicate to all levels of the business (production management to senior executives).
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to creatively solve problems while maintaining a timely and cost-effective approach.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with clear prioritization and organizational skills.
• Ability to make decisions based on data.
• Ability to guide teams with growth, adjustments and changes throughout the organization.

Salary Range is Based on Experience!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
