The Harvey Norman Port Macquarie Technology & Entertainment Team is seeking a passionate, customer service focused Technician & Operations Support person to join them in delivering Great Service, Always! to their customers.
To be successful you must:
- Understand how to setup and trouble shoot all types of computers including PC and MAC plus mobile phones both IOS and ANDROID
- Have extremely good time management
- Be able to multitask
What we require:
- Previous experience in a similar type role is essential
- A high level of Technology and Entertainment product knowledge to support customer queries
- Technical knowledge of related peripherals such as digital cameras, printers, networking and Software programs
- Knowledge of Apple products is highly desirable
- Ability to service your customers while managing work tasks around their needs
- Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving
- Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate services
- Passion to exceed individual and store sales targets
- Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late night trades
About the role:
- Assisting with sending off customer repairs and communicating with customer regularly (most repairs are done by authorised repair agents) and need a sound understanding of computers, mobile phones and technology products to ensure we are doing basic troubleshooting before sending devices away for repair.
- Setting up customers computers and mobile phones, this includes installing software and doing data transfers
- Have a good understanding of the ACL to ensure that you are able to handle any customer issues
- Processing online orders and branch transfers
- Receiving stock and coordinating sending back faulty stock to our suppliers
