About the Role

We’re on the hunt for an exceptional, innovative creative maestro with a start-up spirit, potent vision, and a knack for hatching monumental ideas. If you’re seasoned in sculpting magnetic, social-first content, we want you on board.

As an integral part of our marketing team, you’ll be the creative compass, ing to the Head of Marketing, directing the creative narrative of an emerging disruptive brand, while also getting hands-on, chiselling out compelling content for our social channels and marketing campaigns. This is a critical role as we ramp up to launch our brand into market with a distinct and disruptive tone of voice that will shake up a booming industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision and visual ID of a new brand
• Conceptualise and cultivate unique ideas for social media content and large-scale marketing campaigns that disrupt the status quo.
• Creating on-brand, on-trend content that appeals to our target audience across all digital platforms, including Instagram/Facebook (stories and reels), TikTok, Snap, LinkedIn and Twitter
• Leverage your expertise in Photoshop, InDesign, and video editing software such as Premiere Pro and Premiere Rush to manipulate, refine, and create engaging content.
• Engage in collaborative synergy with both internal teams and external agencies as required, to escalate and optimise content production.

The Person

• A proven track record with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a creative or social media agency, or as an in-house creative, preferably with exciting, challenger brands.
• Passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms – social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, with a knack for captivating narratives.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, as well as video editing software such as Premiere Pro and Premiere Rush.
• Genuine interest and curiosity in the medical cannabis sector, ideally coupled with a passion for evolving perceptions around it.
• A refined sense of humour and a knack for clever, engaging content creation.
• A dynamic start-up mindset, characterised by agility, adaptability, and innovative thinking.
