Project Director or Senior Project Manager Opportunity (depending on level of experience)

• Large civil project building roads to MRWA specifications.
• Civil and mining experience preferred.
• Large contractor experience essential.

Harry Maxwell has been engaged to support talent acquisition for a well-known construction company that provides complex, multi-disciplinary project delivery across the infrastructure, resources, and renewable energy sectors.

We are looking for a Project Director for a large civil project with significant bulk earthworks in regional Western Australia.

To be considered:

• Tertiary qualified in a relevant engineering, construction, or project management degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in construction project management.
• Proven capability in managing and overseeing complex projects, including contract management, project expenditure and delivery of high-value projects on time and on budget.
• Elite management skills and demonstrated business acumen.
• Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual, and human resource management skills.
• Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty, and performance management.
• Proven performance in Project Management on successful projects exceeding the value of $100 Million

Core responsibilities;

• Manage all aspects of project delivery from the site and team set-up to handover.
• Maintain strategic role in client liaison, maintaining and fostering relationships and contacts.
• Develop, implement, and review construction planning and monitor the progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
• Authorise and direct construction planning, programming, and on-site completion schedules.
• Regularly review and monitor project costs and take corrective action if significant deviations from budget occur.
